Hiya rina,
Not sure if i understand fully.
First off, the Multi-Folder option uses Indexes. There is a limitation here to start with, the top index may be only one page. Any underlying indexes may be multiple pages.
After setting the Arles options as you think they should be, goto "Web Pages" and save the settings with File>Save as (give it a name you prefer "gal1.arl" (if you make changes save again as gal1a or something similar).
Example.
I have a gallery of multiple folders.
The best way i have found is to tie these galleries together under one starting folder.
Note for clarity each ">" equals a folder.
>My Photo Galleries (Basicly empty, but you can put pics or thumbs in this folder to use as thumbs for the galleries)
>>Year 2008 (your 2008 pics are in this folder) (optional subindex (may be multiple pages))>>>Jan, >>>Feb>>>Mar>>>April ect ect. >>Year 2009 (2009 pics) (optional subindex (may be multiple pages)) >>Year 2010 (2010 pics) (optional subindex (may be multiple pages)) Ect ect ect.
Now to have Arles correctly process the folders into Multi-Folder galleries, you need to switch on the "Add Subcategories" option.
If you are in the Arles Image Browser click "Web Pages", then on that window at the bottom left tick the box "Add Subcategories".
Next from the top menu of "Web Pages" click Tools>Multi-Folder Processing and a New window will open.
Next click "Find Folders" and check to see if all looks as intended and click "All" to start the processing.
You can locally view the generated output after processing using the "Show" button this uses your Default Browser.
Make changes as nessesary save the changes to a new ARL file and do above procedure again.
Hope this helps some. If this is not the problem then please explain further.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for your reply. This is not my question. Up to this i have done but my question is after this when i click on thumbnail its open inthe same window i need it in another window or tab.
e.g.
I have one main folder namely Calendar and inthat subfolder is JAn, feb and MArch now when i create mutifolder there is thumbnails namely JAn, feb and MArch is created when i clik on Jan its open the same window so when i need to go the main page (calendar) i have to do back page command on the browser. Thanks Rina

Hiya rina,
Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding.
That behaviour is normal for Arles. Every following action defaults to the same window unless set otherwise. (see next post)
But have you maybe forgotten to set the navigation options for the gallery.
If you are in the Arles Image Browser, click Web Pages>Index Page Tab, set navigation here and use options to select the buttons to use. First, Previous, Next, Last, Up and Home navigate within the gallery Images.
The Home button takes you back to the Top Index.
You may need to set navigation for both the Thumbs and the Images.
Hope that helps.

Hiya rina,
If you really wish to shuffle with extra windows then this is the only option i can think of.
What you want has something to do with the "Link target" setting. This setting is available on both the Index Page Tab and the Image Page Tab
Not sure how to do this (i never use it) so you have to experiment with a small gallery to try out.
If you are in the Arles Image Browser, click Web Pages>Index Page Tab>Advanced>Thumbnail Links>Link Target. Try this one first.
If you are in the Arles Image Browser, click Web Pages>Image Pages Tab>Advanced >Image Links. This one is the most likely one.
You need to set it to _Blank if i remember correctly. You may have it set to nothing ie there's nothing filled in which is the default. This defaults to _self if i remember my html correctly
Check the help file at this point for more info.
Let us know if either of the above posts does it for you.
Remember to save changes to a new ARL file so you can go back to previous settings.
Edit: Or you could use the Lightbox feature. Again i have not used this so you would need to experiment a little. End Edit.
